My name is Cara Baltimore, I am the CEO, owner & chief psychotherapist at Divine Counseling LLC. We are black-owned, minority-owned, & women-owned. We are a Wholistic trauma-informed mental health center accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and licensed in the State of Maryland. We specialize in removing trauma from the mind and body, equipping our clients with the skills necessary to Reach Their Highest Self. We utilize evidence-based practices, combined with holistic alternative approaches like Reiki, Yoga, and meditation, to improve clients’ outcomes, enhance their overall health and well-being, and allow them to operate in their Divinity: mind, body, spirit connection. We offer a variety of different therapeutic approaches including but not limited to EMDR, DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, Psychoanalytic, Strength based, Motivational Interviewing, to assist clients with Reaching Their Highest Self. We also provide medication management and have a prescriber on our team, support groups, free monthly yoga, and massage therapy in collaboration with Zen and The City, located on North Charles Street. We offer certified anger management classes, certified parenting classes, women’s support groups, and DBT groups. 

We also offer Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program PRP services which is a program for individuals who are underserved and underrepresented, who are receiving therapy, and struggling in the community to function within normal levels. This program helps minors gain skills early on to live a more meaningful life as adults and helps adults restore or increase levels of functioning. This program specifically focuses on skill building, safety in the community, resource development, entitlement development, money management, higher education, housing, healthy nutrition, etc. This program also provides clients with jobs, including vocational skills, housing, independent living skills, transportation, psycho-education to understand symptoms, interpersonal regulation, communication skills, and so much more. Overall with all of our services, we hope to tailor to each client’s mind, body, soul, and environment, and ultimately our goal is helping each person with Reaching Their Highest Self.
